Platform hosting and AI
Shoplo measures and offsets emissions from the hosting and AI that power the platform. This is not a claim that Shoplo or any merchant store is fully climate neutral.
What we measure
- Hosting (Railway, Cloudflare Workers and object storage, and similar)
- Databases (Neon and similar)
- AI used for Shoplo studio and platform features
What we do not claim
- Merchant product manufacturing or packaging
- Order shipping and fulfillment
- Merchant offices, travel, or advertising
- That a store or its products are climate neutral or “good for the environment” in general
How it works
Each period we convert provider spend for hosting and AI into an estimated CO₂e total using documented spend-based factors, then purchase carbon avoidance credits (via Ecologi) for at least that amount. Certificates and project tiles are listed below when a period has been retired.

Storefront mark
Stores may show a short “hosted on climate-offset infrastructure” mark that links here. That mark refers only to Shoplo’s platform hosting and AI—not the merchant’s products or shipping.
